Welcome to Parlor.ink! These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform. By accessing or using Parlor.ink, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

You may use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Parlor provides a platform for tattoo artists and clients to connect, book sessions, and manage their business.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Parlor charges clients a 7% service fee on top of the artist's session price. Artists receive 100% of their quoted price. The 7% fee covers platform maintenance, payment processing, and customer support.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By using Parlor, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Artists must complete Stripe's verification process to receive payments.
Artists set their own deposit requirements and cancellation policies. Refund decisions are at the artist's discretion based on their stated policy. Parlor's service fee is only charged on completed payments.
Artist payments are processed according to Stripe's payout schedule, typically 2-3 business days after session completion. Deposit payments may be available immediately.
All content, features, and functionality on Parlor.ink (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, designs, and software) are owned by Parlor.ink or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to content you upload (portfolio images, designs, messages). By uploading content, you grant Parlor a non-exclusive license to display, store, and distribute this content as necessary to provide our services.
Artists are responsible for ensuring they have the right to display portfolio images. Do not upload images that infringe on others' copyrights or violate client privacy without proper consent.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any content on Parlor without our prior written permission.
Parlor is a platform that connects artists and clients. Artists are independent service providers, not employees of Parlor. The contractual relationship for tattoo work is directly between the artist and client.
Artists are responsible for their own work quality, safety standards, licensing requirements, and compliance with local health regulations. Parlor does not provide oversight of the tattooing process itself.
Disputes regarding work quality, booking agreements, or service delivery should be resolved directly between artist and client. Parlor may provide mediation assistance but is not liable for the outcome.
All booking-related communication should occur through the Parlor platform to maintain records and ensure accountability. Taking transactions off-platform violates these terms.
Parlor.ink is provided 'as is' without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service. You use the platform at your own risk.
In no event shall Parlor.ink, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Parlor shall not exceed the amount of fees we received from you in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or services of third-party providers (including Stripe, email services, or hosting providers). Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. Your data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy.
We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or violations of our policies.
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
After account termination, you can export your data for 30 days. After this period, we may permanently delete your information except what we're legally required to retain.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If a revision is material (such as changes to fees, liability, or fundamental service terms), we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email and an in-app notification before new terms take effect.
Your continued use of Parlor after any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you don't agree with new terms, you should stop using the service.
Previous versions of our Terms are archived and available upon request. We maintain transparency in how our policies evolve.
